Sigelei Moonshot 24 RTA Review

Moonshot 24 RTA

The Sigelei Moonshot 24 RTA is the product of a fantastic new partnership between Sigelei and California-based Suprimo Vape. This is a unique RTA designed by Sigelei to fill the gap in their current lineup. It combines some of the more advanced features that Sigelei has used in their other atomizers  with the edgier design and tweaking of a US-based RTA builder.

Features

One of the most notable features of the Sigelei Moonshot 24 RTA is the active cooling feature. This is actually a step up from some of the other safety features that have become routine on high-powered devices. This RTA actually cools itself on an ongoing basis. Overheating of the tank changes the way other RTAs perform, but this one doesn’t have that problem. For as small as this device is, it actually packs quite the punch. It is the perfect choice for up to 200W devices.

Other impressive features include the convenient top-fill port, the wide build deck for easier building, and more. This device is also highly durable, and it comes in a case so impressive that you’ll probably want to keep all the packaging.

PerformanceMoonshot 24 RTA

The Sigelei Moonshot 24 RTA is a true pleasure to work with. You can’t help but notice almost immediately that all of the pieces are precision built to fit together smoothly. The O-rings are a perfect fit, and even the threads on the base screw together without any hang-ups. When put together, it feels hefty and strong, and there are no noticeable loose or rattling parts. While this tank is designed for up to 200W configurations, the best flavor/vapor combinations seem to be in the 60-75W range for balance. Even with the active cooling feature you can burn through liquid very fast at 150+ watts and risk some dry hits, but it all depends on the consistency of the vape juice you are using.

Overall, this RTA created a satisfying taste and feel, while also producing impressive clouds. It is definitely a versatile piece for any collection. The artwork on the packaging, and the fact that it comes in a fancy metal box actually makes it something of a collector’s item in itself. Either way, you won’t be disappointed by the experience when it comes to building and vaping with this thing.
