Innokin Cool Fire Plus iSub G (Storm Edition) Review

The Cool Fire Plus iSub G Storm Edition is Innokin’s second generation rendition of the Cool Fire IV Plus. It includes all of the favorite features of the original Cool Fire kit, along with a few new details and a totally custom look. It is an extremely versatile device packed into a comfortable design that makes it easy to use.

Design

The Innokin Cool Fire IV Storm Edition comes in a classy black and white color scheme and it fits just right in the palm of your hand. It is shaped with smooth contours on one side, and an easy to read LED panel and control interface on the other. The construction is sturdy and durable, so you don’t have to worry about it falling apart any time soon. It also includes a glass sub ohm tank with a 3.8 mL capacity.

Of course, battery life and output are one of the hottest topics when it comes to vape mods. Fortunately, the Cool Fire Plus iSub G Storm Edition features a true 3300 mAh battery built in. It provides plenty of power and a very long service life. In addition, Innokin includes their “vape while you charge” capability, so you can continue to use this device even when it is plugged in.

It is a rechargeable battery, so they made sure to include a high quality charging cable, unlike some of those thin and fragile cables that other manufacturers use. This one is built to last. Overall, you’re looking at 70W output, with 26.5A and 7.5V.

Versatility

The Cool Fire Plus Storm Edition is both variable wattage and variable voltage, giving you absolute control over your vaping experience. You can adjust from 2-7.5V in .1V increments, or you can go from 6-70W in .5W increments. The best part is that your machine will automatically remember your last setting so you don’t have to worry about finding the perfect blend again every time you pick it up.

Safety

Innokin didn’t cut any corners when it comes to safety with this device. Built-in over discharge protection will automatically shut it down if the battery is at risk. There is also a low voltage warning when your battery is getting run down, and short circuit protection just in case your atomizer drops below 0.1 Ohm resistance. If your device detects unsafe conditions, it simply will not power on.
